Regular Season Round 7: Al Riyadi - Sagesse 87-80

One of the most interesting games of round 7 was a derby match between two teams from Lebanon. The game took place in Beirut where leaderAl Riyadi won against visiting Sagesse (0-2) 87-80 . Al Riyadi players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ali Mansour (185-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 13 assists. American Maurice Kemp (203-1991, college: ECU) contributed with 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-1990, college: Texas) answered with 20 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and the other American import guard Erick Green (190-1991, college: Virginia Tech) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sagesse. Five Al Riyadi and four Sagesse players scored in double figures. Defending Lebanese champion (2-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Gorgan. Sagesse at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost.
